Calculations Stay in Your Browser
Every calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to a server, whether or not you have an account.
Free Accounts
A free account is optional. It unlocks the members-only calculators and print-outs without the watermark. When you sign up we keep only what is needed to sign you in:
- Your email address, and the date you signed up and last signed in.
- If you use Google, your name and email as shared by Google. We never see your Google password.
Sign-in is handled by Supabase, our authentication provider, which stores this data for us. While you are signed in, a sign-in token is saved in your browser so the site knows you are a member. We do not sell your email or use it for advertising. To delete your account, email hello@myconstructioncalculator.com.
What Is Saved on Your Device
To make the tools easier to use, some choices are saved in your browser's local storage on this device only:
- Your metric or imperial choice.
- Your sign-in session, if you have a free account.
- My Project: the results you add, their prices, and the project details you type.
- Prices and currency you enter in Price This, so they are ready next time.
- Your recent calculations, shown on the home page.
- The site address and contact you type in Send Order.
- Pages saved for offline use, if you install the app or tap Save All Calculators.
None of this is sent to us. You can remove it with the Clear buttons on the site, or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Share Links and Orders
Share links put your inputs in the link itself, so whoever you send it to can see them. A shared project link keeps the project after the # sign, which browsers do not send to the server. Send Order opens WhatsApp, your messages app or your email app with the message filled in; we never see or send the message.
Site Reminders (Phone Notifications)
The concrete date calculators can send a notification on the day of a cube test, form striking or the end of curing. This is off unless you tap Remind me and allow notifications. We then keep, for each reminder:
- The push address and keys your browser creates for this site. They do not contain your name, email or phone number.
- Which reminder it is, its date and time, the pour date and the link to your calculation.
Your browser's push service (Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft) delivers the notification. The message is encrypted so only your browser can read it. Each reminder is deleted as soon as it is sent. Cancel reminders deletes them straight away. If you turn notifications off for this site in your browser or phone settings, the reminders stop and are deleted the next time one is due. We never use notifications for advertising.
Analytics
The site may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible) to count page views and actions such as calculate, copy and share. These do not identify you personally.
Calculators on Other Websites
Some websites embed our calculators. They work the same way there: your inputs stay in your browser, and the embedded calculator does not use cookies or tracking.
Contact Form and Email
When you use the contact form, we receive your name (if you give it), your email address, your message and whether you ticked the box for email updates. The form sends this to our inbox through Resend, our email delivery provider; it is not stored on this website. If you email hello@myconstructioncalculator.com directly, we receive the same details from your email.
- We use your message and email only to reply to you.
- If you tick the email updates box, we may also send you occasional news about new calculators and offers. Every such email will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.
- We do not sell your details or share them with advertisers.
- To have your messages deleted, email hello@myconstructioncalculator.com.
Changes
If advertising or a newsletter service is added later, this page will be updated first to explain what is collected and how to opt out.
